searchengage

SearchEngage being installed can be the consequence of a “bundle” kind of install process, which shows that you were not careful enough when installing some other software on to your system.

When SearchEngage is installed in your system, you’ll notice that all its results pages include many ads. It goes without saying that you must not click on any of this ads, because you could end up dealing with even more issues. The reason for this is that any time you click on those ads, you are guided to unknown websites that could have malicious content. Clearly then, you put your computer in even more danger of getting another infection. One way to stay on the safe side is to never click on those ads, but don’t be too naive, even if SearchEngage includes some legitimate results coming from Google or Bing, the best course of action is to remove it as quickly as possible.
