Remove TopFlix

TopFlix is an adware that broadcasts its publicity by means of modifying your DNS records. This procedure allows the adware to redirect anything towards advertising servers directly; this means that if you visit a website whose ads come from Google, they will be removed and replaced by other ads coming from TopFlix. This represents a much discrete manner to show ads, from what the usual adware would do… which is just to add publicity to any visited website. TopFlix does not add publicity it replaces it.

At first TopFlix will try to convince you that it has a very useful side, by allowing you to visit US websites no matter where you are in the world.

TopFlix is not a new program, it’s actually just another of the many versions of another program known under the name AnyFlix, or from Cloudscout (although this one is presented as a parental control software).

This kind of program keeps its own DNS configuration on your computer through several methods: Windows’ services, scheduled tasks, tasks executed at system’s start-up… among others that can be used mixed with each other. To ensure that removing TopFlix does not become a complicated task for you, you’ll find below free software that will help you remove it automatically.
