Remove System Optimizer

System Optimizer is a fake optimizing software that uses the same techniques many adware use to get into our computers. It trusts users won’t be paying much attention to what happens when they are installing new free sofware. Actually is quite common to find in some download platforms, setup programs for popular software like CCleaner that have been modified to offer you other tools with it. These offers are discrete and go unnoticed specially because most people just click and click without really noticing what they are doing, concentrating only in going as fast as possible. Here’s an example where System Optimizer is offered by telecharger.com (01net/Cnet):

Once installed on your system, System Optimizer (by the way it’s just a new version of OptimizerPro) will scan your computer resulting in some alarming reports.

For example in our own testing computer it found over 4691 elements that according to them needed to be cleaned. Notice how more than half of those elements are just browsing temp files. Files that are created whenever you browse the internet and that incidentally to erase them won’t make your computer faster.

If  you want to “fix” these problems, the software asks you to go to checkout…

If you try to close the program, it will open up reminders of the “worrying” state of your computer.

Don’t fall into the trap, and don’t pay a thing… it’s best to remove it (and for free) with the help of the following guide.
