Neurowise is one of many advertising programs that offers you fake discounts and deals once it’s been installed in your computer’s system. These advertisements get embedded in any and all web pages that you view and can end up really annoying you. The most serious threat is that Neurowise causes a major issue for your private life and personal information: the add-on or the process that allows advertisements to appear can also find out about everything you do online and register your data in databases that will then be sold to people who are usually pretty careless.
Neurowise has an online website, but it’s only there to make it look good and give a little credibility to the add-on, which you can’t even download from this page. Neurowise does indeed spread secretively when you download and install freeware from platforms such as ZDNet or Softonic, or when you click on a fake alert telling you that Flash hasn’t been updated for viewing such-and-such streaming video, etc.
