Remove Clearthink

Clearthink is a PUP (or Potentially Unwanted Program) that comes and latches on to the most popular web browsers (like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox et Internet Explorer). This adware program also gets installed as a browser add-on. Its main function is to introduce tons of commercial advertisements onto the websites you visit- offers that are more or less appealing- in order to get the infected user to click on them and therefore gather advertising revenue (Editor’s Note: on the web, each click on an ad generates money).

This adware program doesn’t get installed all by itself: Clearthink needs the user’s help, which it gets through deception. Actually, cyber criminals themselves develop websites, adding content that’s usually popular: videos, for example. When a visitor wants to watch one, a fake message appears and offers to install an add-on on the browser under a false pretext (i.e., installing an add-on in order to play a video). Therefore, the user installs it, not realizing that they’re placing spyware right onto his or her browser. Other spyware publishers prefer to disguise their program so that users get it mixed up with a popular spyware program. Once the user accepts the download, Clearthink becomes an add-on or independent program on the PC.
Below, you will find free and (most importantly) effective explanations for removing Clearthink.
