Remove Special Offer

If you’ve been seeing pop-ups or advertising banners labeled as Special Offer opening up unexpectedly, is probably because you’ve been infected with an adware.

Usually Special Offer’s ads show up in the bottom right corner of the screen, right above the time and notifications zone. Most of the time those ads try to convince you to buy what’s supposed to be a security software because they have found some allegedly urgent problem with your PC. Ads shown by Special Offer can be seen both at boot time or unexpectedly and randomly while you’re using your computer.

Advertising windows shown by Special Offer are the consequence of an adware that was installed behind your back, probably as you downloaded a free software from the web. Many download websites use the bundle technique that consist of reconstructing the original install process for the software you were looking for in such a way that it will include one or more unwanted programs. These programs can be web browser tool bars, adware,  intrusive ads programs, or browser hijackers. The tricky part is to add these malicious software as hidden as possible, making them part of the “recommended” installation, since this is the option most users will chose.

The following free guide will help you get rid of all Special Offer ads and any adware hiding behind them. Make sure to execute all steps on the guide so your computer is properly cleaned.
