Remove PlumoWeb

PlumoWeb is primarily an adware designed to display ads, generate web traffic and collect prospects for suspicious websites. Like other adware, it displays advertising on sites that you visit and invites you to benefit from competitive prices on products offered by commercial sites like Amazon. So, you may think that this program proves to be useful, however, it can be intrusive because it broadcasts nonstop advertising whether you like it or not.

When PlumoWeb is on your browser, whether it’s Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, it displays masses of banners, highlights words in texts and makes many pop-up windows to show up.

Although there is a pseudo official page for PlumoWeb, this adware gets into your computer while you download free software from the web. Certain free downloads don’t bring out on purpose that PlumoWeb will be installed at the same time as your free program. This often happens when you download via Softonic or Cnet. So, you have to be extra careful when you install free software.
