Remove PhraseProfessor

PhraseProfessor is a malicious web browser plug -in, very similar to Clever Search, WordAnchor, Word Surfer, WordShark, among others. In the same way those plug-ins do, PhraseProfessor offers to provide an option to help users with their searches and translations needs. On its official website we can read the following statement: “PhraseProfessor is a software tool that turns any search or translation into an easy task. Just highlight any desired text on any website and PhraseProfessor will show you the best results coming from Wikipedia and Bing without leaving the website you’re visiting”. All of these pretty words are nothing more than an attempt to make their software look legitimate, when in all truth PhraseProfessor is an adware also considered as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The main reason for this is that PhraseProfessor has a very suspicious behavior: it gets installed quietly, it shows a lot of intrusive publicity and it spies on the user’s web activity.

PhraseProfessor uses techniques that allows it to show its ads in every possible corner of all the websites you visit. Even though these ads might seem harmless at first, they could guide your browsing towards websites where you could end up with even more infections. Plus PhraseProfessor spies on your online activity. Among the data recollected, personal data might be included such as your PayPal login information or data related to your bank account. PhraseProfessor’s developers won’t hesitate to sell this information afterwards, no matter what the threat might be for you, including identity theft.

The following free guide will help you remove PhraseProfessor once and for all.
