Remove Offer Alert

If you’ve been seeing pop-ups or advertising banners labeled as Offer Alert opening up unexpectedly, is probably because you’ve been infected with an adware.

Usually Offer Alerts ads show up in the bottom right corner of the screen, right above the clock and the notifications zone. Most of the time those ads try to convince you to buy what’s supposed to be a security software because they have found some allegedly urgent problem with your PC. Ads shown by Offer Alert can be seen both at boot time or unexpectedly and randomly while you’re using your computer.

Advertising windows shown by Offer Alert are the consequence of an adware that was installed behind your back, probably as you downloaded a free software from the web. Many download websites use the bundle technique that consist of recreating the original install process for the software you were looking for in such a way that it will include one or more unwanted programs. These programs can be web browser tool bars, adware,  intrusive ads programs, or browser hijackers. The trick is adding these malicious software as hidden as possible, making them part of the “recommended” installation, since this is the option most users will chose.

The following free guide will help you get rid of all ads shown by Offer Alert and any adware hiding behind them. Make sure to execute all steps on the guide so your computer is properly cleaned from any other malicious software also installed.
