But don’t be fooled: Genesis is an adware program that, in 99% of cases, is distributed as part of a package from free programs. Just one absent-minded mistake when you’re downloading these programs and there you have it- you end up with a heap of adware and spyware like Genesis.
This adware program will do everything it can to display advertisements and if your computer is contaminated, you’ll see a bunch of them with the words “Ads by Genesis” or “Similar Products by Genesis,” especially on commercial websites like Amazon, Pixmania, Cdiscount, etc.
