Remove Dollar Dream

Dollar Dream is an adware, as such it does the same as the rest of software in this category… to take advantage of the people’s lack of attention when installing new software to take a place in their systems. Once it has been able to insert itself in your computer, Dollar Dream will star spying and collecting data about everything you do online, while also showing an excessive amount of annoying ads.

This ads can be seen as pop-ups, banners, or green/blue underlined words within the text of the websites being visited by infected users. It’s quite easy to notice and identify Dollar Dream’s adds because they are usually tagged as Dollar Dream Ads or Ads by Dollar Dream.

Dollar Dream acts then like a spy, taking notice and saving information about every website you visit and every web search you make. The goal of this task is to be able to customize the ads shown in the hope of making them more appealing to you at a personal level. But that’s not all, at the same time this saved information ends up in commercial databases that are bought afterwards by others.

Dollar Dream is usually installed along with some free software found in one of the most popular download platforms like soft32.com, download.com, softonic.com, etc… They win money thanks to the little tools they add to their setup programs (so called “free of malware”) as optional software along with the software the user had chosen. As you can see installing free software has become the source of adware installation also. You can stop this by reading carefully what’s being installed by any given setup program, and by customizing such installs in order to reject any optional software.
