Remove Cerber

Cerber is a ransomware, meaning a software that was created to encrypt your files so you’ll be asked for a ransom to regain access.

Usually ransomware such as Cerber, is found in e-mail attachments, fake cracks offering you the best of the best, and sometimes Cerber can be found in advertisement networks that have been infected with malware. This technique allows them to get victims that visit the most popular sales websites, infecting all of those whose Flash or Silverlight versions are not up-to-date. Actually even the smallest security issues could open the door to remote code executions, leading easily to Cerber being installed. From this moment on we’ll be dealing with usual consequences of this kind of infection: immediate encryption of your files and demands of money to give you your files back.

Up until this moment, there’s no tool capable of decrypting files infected by Cerber without the key they sale, even though there are many people working on a solution to solve this problem otherwise. What’s needs to be done is removing Cerber as quickly as possible so any still clean files are not touched in your computer or in any other device attached to it. We do not recommend you to pay the ransom, nothing guarantees you that they will actually give you the key you need to recover your files.
