Amazing Tab is a potentially unwanted program, usually discretely offered along with some freeware installation, thus the name “potentially unwanted”. Oddly enough we have also found Amazing Tab in Chrome’s store, although we are pretty sure that it won’t be there for much longer due to their mischievous ways which are bound to be forbidden by Google’s rules; plus there’s another issue: many anti-virus are starting to declare Amazing Tab as a malicious program.
This program was developed to show an specific page whenever you open a new tab or window on your web browser. Amazing Tab has different links towards known and trustworthy websites like Amazon, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Twitter, ebay, etc… at least at first, because the contents of this program changes quickly and without notice. Nothing stops them from starting all the sudden to promote certain websites that might need to increase their traffic and that pay Amazing Tab to take charge of it.
If you find yourself with Amazing Tab installed in your computer without explanation, because you didn’t install it yourself, we recommend you to remove it immediately. First of all because you can have no certainty about where this program might direct you and on top of that you should never keep any software that was forced on you.
